Who we are
gate.11 is privately owned and run by its founders, Conny Krause and Christian Künstler, since 2000.
At the core, you will find a small team.
And if you work with us, you work with us.
With no layers of account handlers in-between.
We’re producers, directors, designers, writers and artists, and our output is as varied as our team: Films, ads, events, exhibition stands, speeches and animations.
No matter whether it’s about brands, people or products – we believe a carefully crafted story, tastefully brought to life, is the best way to reach the audience.
And no matter what the scope is, you can always talk to the people who actually create it. Which makes life easier for you – and for us.

A Manufaktur, not a factory
The word Manufaktur is intentional.
It describes how we work: carefully, directly, without layers between the client and the creative.
When you work with gate.11, you work with the people doing the work. You sit with the creative directors, the directors, the designers - the people who have spent decades developing judgment you cannot fake.
Our clients speak directly with the people making their film.
That is not a service model. It is a conviction.
This directness is something our clients - among them some of Europe's most demanding brand leaders - consistently name as the reason they work with us.
Some have stayed for five years. Several for over a decade.
One relationship ran for eighteen years.
The team
Our core team is here to help, with each member taking responsibility for your job. We've got experts with tons of experience in their fields backing us up, as well as a network of top industry pros.
Conny is a creative director with three decades of experience in broadcast design, experiential design and visual brand communication.
Before founding gate.11, she worked internationally as creative director for television channels, as well as leading design agencies like DMC and velvet.
Christian is a creative director and film producer with three decades of experience in film, visual effects and brand communication.
Before founding gate.11, he worked internationally as visual effects supervisor and producer on award-winning feature films and commercials, combining technical knowledge with visual storytelling.
Arnd is a creative director, film director and editor with three decades of experience in film production and brand communication.
His extensive portfolio reflects his longtime experience – ranging from essay film to music documentaries to commercial and corporate media productions.
Before joining gate.11, he worked as freelance film director and editor with focus on visual storytelling as well as on motion-design.
Anna is a producer, post-production producer and media executive with extensive experience in post-production and international production.
She has worked as a freelance producer on German and international commercial film productions, as a post-production producer at ARRI TV, and as managing director of Pictorion Das Werk in Munich, where she oversaw award-winning projects in advertising, TV design, and feature films.
Based between Los Angeles and Munich, she joined the gate.11 production team in 2021.
Timm is a copywriter and journalist with more than two decades of experience in writing for advertising, film and brand communication.
Before joining gate.11, he worked for more than 100 ad agencies in Germany, the UK and the US.
During his time as a freelancer, he wrote for the German national press and published an illustrated travel book.
He also plays in various bands.
Goran is a creative director and visual communication designer with over fifteen years of experience in brand identity, design systems and digital experiences.
His work spans a broad range of visual communication, with a focus on developing strong creative ideas and translating them into effective solutions across different formats and applications. He has worked internationally across a wide range of projects, leading the design process from initial direction through to final execution.
Before joining gate.11 in 2017, he worked independently with international clients and design agencies across a wide range of projects.

A few words about confidentiality
As a long-standing and trusted partner to international automotive and luxury goods brands, confidentiality and data security are paramount.
That is why gate.11 has the necessary processes in place to handle projects with the utmost confidentiality.
This applies to processes at the agency's location as well as to on-site events and film shootings.
gate.11 is a participant in TISAX, which assesses our information security and that of our business partners.
