WORK

Content wise

Our customer relationships tend to be long-term. Consequently, there is a tendency for certain topics to accumulate. See below for thematic fields that we regularly address and are well-versed in.

Whether it’s the launch of a new brand or product. The repositioning or simply the maintenance of the image of a brand that’s over a hundred years old: cinematic brand storytelling can achieve all of this!

Whether they are the brand’s own representatives and staff, brand ambassadors, or brand collaboration partners: they are the protagonists with whom we have packaged brands’ visions, ambitions, or attitudes into compelling brand storytelling for our clients.

Board members, designers, Michelin-starred chefs, racing drivers, researchers, actors, art collectors, sportspeople – the genres are as varied as the tasks and the approaches are multifaceted. That’s what we love!

Good design speaks for itself. Well, almost.

After all, taking a look behind the scenes of the design process can reveal so much more:
The value of good design, and the fact that simplicity can be complex. It can also show a brand’s vision, and how it sees the future. It can also show the enthusiasm and dedication with which its designers bring this vision to life.

It's simply fascinating.

The importance of Making-of documentaries has steadily increased in the past years. They give the customer an insight into how a brand works, and what thinking lies behind the products.

We have done numerous films about how cars are designed, how show cars are built and how light- and interior design add to the finished product.

Always aware that access to those topics might touch some of the biggest trade-secrets a company may have, everything we do gets handled with full responsibility, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality. Over 25 years, we have earned the trust from major automotive OEMs, and gate.11 is a participant in TISAX, which assesses our information security and that of our business partners.

Sustainability and circular economy nowadays play a key role in brand communication, especially for car makers.

For both BMW and Audi we researched topics, identified interviewers and presenters - or curated an art project. Using film, design and displays at fairs, we communicated the topics in-depth but entertaining.

Of course!

One way to convey a brand’s values is to profile its senior executives.

This can be done not just at official events, but in an intimate and personal way.

Over the past 25 years, we have worked with numerous CEOs, board members, and senior executives, helping them convey their messages in a personal manner.

Moving from the boardroom to a football stadium or the deck of a sailing boat, for example, can open up entirely new perspectives.

Over the past 25 years, we have worked at every major motor show around the world, including the IAA in Frankfurt, the Paris Motor Show, the Geneva Motor Show, the Tokyo Motor Show, Auto China, and the Detroit Motor Show. Not just for one brand, either, but seven.

As well as designing the media presence of German premium brands at trade fairs worldwide, we have also helped Chinese brands establish themselves in their home market and abroad.

Our approach goes beyond simply showing films on giant screens. Live communication effectively conveys messages by transforming exhibition stands into immersive media experiences.

Effectively presenting a brand's latest news or products can be challenging.
It must be entertaining and informative. It must be innovative, yet consistent with the brand.

Often, this impact needs to be felt by both the audience in the room and those who see the content distributed across various media channels. Our media design is specifically tailored to these hybrid requirements.

We provide all the necessary expertise in-house: editorial content development, creative design, presentation staging, and technical implementation.

What is the visual representation of a brand in three dimensions?

We have developed a wide range of multimedia concepts for permanent and temporary brand spaces, including shops and brand experience centres, across a variety of sectors, such as the automotive and watch industries.

The content includes product and technical information, innovative ideas, and narratives about a brand's past or future. Inspiring media architecture and interactive exhibits actively engage visitors.

We have also constructed a temporary brand pavilion to present the future of the brand to a car manufacturer's business partners and dealers. This featured a multimedia product show, in which dozens of vehicles were meticulously choreographed and arranged in motion.

Company anniversaries provide an excellent opportunity to share a brand's origins, heritage, values, and vision.

We have successfully transformed such narratives into documentaries, brand exhibitions, and jubilee ceremony events.

The conceptual work naturally begins with research. This involves delving into archives, talking to long-standing employees, and identifying the essence of a brand. We then translate the narrative into various forms of communication for a single event or longer-lasting campaign.

Another benefit is identifying how a company’s heritage became brand equity, while also providing insight into the brand's future direction.

An anniversary campaign need not be merely retrospective nostalgia; it can also generate a shared vision and foster trust with interested parties, as well as with the brand's friends and customers.

They say the devil is in the detail, and that certainly applies to fine watchmaking.

The intricate parts and mechanisms of a watch are always difficult to showcase, but that’s where the fun begins for us!

Our CGI experts become digital watchmakers and understand how things work.

They don't just make the watches look great - our digital representations of these exquisite timepieces function exactly like the originals.

Whether it's the Perpetual Calendar or the Grand Complication, the digital mechanics and logic work as perfectly and reliably as the originals. So, not only can people enjoy them, but they can also learn how they work.

Some products need a bit more than just a few beauty shots, as they can be complicated. This complexity is something we thrive on. A watch with a thousand intricate pieces? You’ve seen it here first…
